Dr. Dean is certified by the American Board of Hair Restoration and the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the International Society for Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and is a current member of the American Medical Association and the Florida Medical Association.
He served as Team Vice President and then Chief of Surgery at Chesterfield General Hospital in Cheraw, South Carolina. He went on to be Vice Chief of Surgery at St. Joseph Hospital in Port Charlotte, Florida before being promoted to chief of surgery.
It became affiliated with the Bosley Medical Group, a large hair transplant group.
Dr. Dean has received specialized training in tickle liposuction, platelet-rich plasma therapy, stem cell rich fat transfer, advanced orthostatic liposuction, and Level I breast augmentation.
